BYO in Space

Michael Ridge is a Sound and New Media Artist currently based in Norwich. He often examines the creative potential of inaudible and unwanted sounds in found objects. His work also encompasses refashioning sound storage mediums such as vinyl records and cassette tapes; with the intention of creating Fluxus/Dada influenced object, installation and performance works.

He also records and performs Noise Music under the name Zebra Mu, as well as run the DIY record label Quagga Curious Sounds. Often Record label and Noise activities are closely tied in with his art practice.

Michael is also one half of the drawing/zine/mail art duo Ridge & Scrase, as well as being a member of the artist collective other/other/other.
